Family Portraits - Daniel Bruce Acker
Portrait of happy family on summer day

Family portraits are a great way to celebrate your life together. Let the Best Moments Last Forever. Families grow and change, but love always remains. Perfectly capture each person’s distinct character and real moments of family love. Don’t leave precious memories behind; let them live out loud in your home.

An Immersive 3-step Experience

1. A free in-home consultation: We’ll discuss what types of images you want to display, how and where you want to display them, whether it’s prints for you wall or a custom album, we’ll look at possible locations for your session, and what colors work best in your home.

2. Your portrait session: Your session should be fun and relaxing. We’ll photograph the moments we discussed in the agreed upon location(s). The rate for the session starts at $475 plus 6% PA Sales Tax. If we rent a studio for the session, additional costs will be applied.

3.Select your photos: We’ll review the final images together and select the one or ones that are perfect for you. Your investment in prints is up to you. A large canvas print to hang above your sofa could cost up to a few thousand dollars where an unframed 5″x7″ print costs just under $3.00. Should you decide not to purchase prints, you can download your images from our secure online gallery with full printing rights and permission to share your photos on social media.

Build your own collection of custom art that features your family and lasts a lifetime.

We often are asked, what should I wear for my portrait session? Here's a few tips:

Select a color theme and coordinate pieces. Pick a few colors that tie everyone’s outfits together. Simple non-busy patterns, layering and accessories can complete your look (jewelry, scarves, etc.). Avoid florescent colors that can leave behind a color cast on your skin, baseball hats and large logos on clothing. Keep in mind the location of the shoot and where you will display your portraits in your home to match your decor. Be sure your socks match your footwear. Iron clothing so they are wrinkle free.
